Ricardo Aguiar
A multinational accomplished artist, Ricardo Aguiar was raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Art was his destiny, since childhood, he drew inspiration from his mother, an oil painter and pianist. He studied oil painting for over 10 years and followed a career path as an Art Director in advertising.In 1990, he needed a new challenge and moved to New York City, where he further developed his artistic vision while working as a graphic artist and web designer/developer during the dot.com boom. After the 9/11 attack in New York, he moved to Miami, where he later graduated in Photography from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and soon after, started shooting portraits,  weddings and events for established studios in Florida.

He has photographed weddings and events on high-end venues and hotels such as Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Vizcaya Museum, The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Westin Diplomat and Marriott Hotels to mention a few.

He married his Danish wife Marianne in 2007 and a year later, they adopted Victor, a spoiled 4 week old kitty they found on the street while shopping in North Miami. In October of 2010 he moved to Denmark, with his wife and cat. He brings his diverse culture background and skills to photograph portraits and events in Europe.
