I just love this old lady. She lost her life long friend, 17 years old Silvester, a few months ago. Silvester died after he was attacked by street dogs and since that, she roams around our back yard looking for love and food. I thought she was a street cat when I first saw her, until one day I was petting her by my kitchen door and her owner showed up and told me about her history and her lost friend Silvester. Her owner found her when she was a kitty, she has been abused and thrown acid on. She had no fur and was badly burned. Her owner took her in and took care of her. Her nose  suffers from sun burns mostly on summer time. She is one of our daily visitors, mostly on meal times.

I never had much interested in cats until my wife found our Victor behind a newspaper stand on a dark night in Aventura. Victor was just 4 week old, he was weak, cold, hungry and scared. We took him in just for the night. That was 2 years and 12 pounds ago. Victor now is a spoiled chubby cat that we love and is the reason I can’t resist photographing cats whenever I see a new one roaming around in our apartment complex. Which brings me to Zokni, our neighbors cat. Zokni means socks in Hungarian because he has white paws. We took care of him for 3 months while our neighbors were travelling In Europe and this is his look when he comes to us looking for food. We just can’t  resist….
